Brief history of Moulana Syed Yousha Faizi

786/110
Mohammed Yousha “Faizi” Zangipuri

SHAIR
AALIM
ZAAKIR
A GOOD EKHLAAQ

Born in 1929 A.D, Syed Mohammed Yousha “Faizi” was his adapted name in poetry. He was born into a religious family and he was the known eighth generation ALIM and his father Allama Qais Zangipuri was an internationally recognized Sha’er-e-Ahle Bayt(a.s). He was born in Zangipur district of Ghazipur. Zangipur requires no introduction amongst the community of keen followers of Shia theology for its title as “Seat of Islamic Theology” in the yesteryears.
He lost his mother at a very tender age of 12 and had his education at Jawadia Arabic College, Banaras. During his education itself his passion for Shaeri was well known, why not because he had inherited the same from his father.

He was a self made man, refined in manners, always stressing the performance of religious duties, observance of Islamic tenets. He was a great azadar and his death on Sham-e- Ghariban testifies it. He has written many books on various aspects of Islam.

He began his career as Imam-e-Juma in late 60’s in Ranchi, later served as imam-e-Juma at Basravi masjid in Kolkata and later in the year 1975 on the invitation of AnJuma n-e- imamia took up the responsibility as imam-e-Juma in Askari masjid Bangalore where he served till the end almost for 32yrs.He along with others brought Bangalore AZADARI, Maqasad and other religious activities to international recognition.

He served as a humble patron in various religious organizations, including member Karnataka State Board of Wakfs.

He was a learned and practical Alim, who would simplify complicated matters with ease any masaa’el (Islamic Laws) so as to make it interesting and practical and was an equally eloquent Zakir - e – Ahlebait(a.s) and Sha’er. It was a unique amalgamation , seldom it would be difficult to say what he is best at .

His passion for sha’eri was unparalled. His love for his native Zangipur was enormous.
In his entire life he could not visit Zangipur only on 5 occasions. It was his love for his watan which took him there even after his death, 2500 Kms from Banglore. He was known for his akhlaq and mehman nawazi and that gave him outmost satisfaction.

He was loved adored by all his relations, not only respected by his own community, but people across all religions respected him. His funeral at Zangipur was a testimony for that where people across all faiths congregated in chilling winter till the late evening to pay their tributes to him.

In the year 1974, he compiled Kaif-e-moaddat, collection of few well known qasaed
Rubaiyat of Qais Zangipuri in two different editions.

Later compiled Yaad-e-Karbala, collection of few well known nauhas of Qais Zangipuri.

Just days before his last breaths, he released the audio and video(VCDs) version of Yaad-e-karbala Vol-2, compiled by his son Saulath Abbas and earlier vol-1 compiled by his third son Majlisi Faizi.

His well known sher for azadari was “BUS ISLIYE AZEEZ HAI YE ZINDAGI HAMEY, HUM MARKE PHIR HUSSAIN KO RONE NA PAENGE”.
The trend mashallah continues as his son Syed Farqaleetha Ali Hussainy is serving as resident Alim in USA. His son Syed Qasid Abbas Hussainy is pursuing his Ilm-E-Deen(Islamic Education) and shall continue further.

Basic info about Eid-e-Ghadeer(Eidullahil Akbar)

Some basic info about Ghadeer e Khum every shia must know about:

What Happened at Ghadeer Khumm??
“The Prophet Muhammad said: I am the City of Knowledge, and ‘Ali is the gate. So let those who seek knowledge enter through its gate.” -- Sahih Tirmidhi,
The Background:
On the 18th of Dhul-Hajjah, after completing his
“farewell pilgrimage” (Hajjatul- Wida'a), the Messenger of
Allah (peace be upon him and his progeny) had departed
Makkah en route to Madinah. He and the entire Muslim
caravan, numbering over 100,000, were stopped at
Ghadeer Khumm, a deserted-yet-strategically situated area
that lies between Makkah and Madinah (near today’s
Juhfah). In those days, Ghadeer Khumm served as a point
of departure, where the various Muslims who had come
to perform the pilgrimage from neighbouring lands would
disperse and embark upon their own routes back home. It
was in this place that the Angel Jibra’eel descended upon
the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his
progeny) and revealed the following urgent command of
Allah:
“O Apostle! Deliver what has been sent down to
you from your Lord; and if you do not do it, you
have not delivered His message (at all); and Allah
will protect you from the people ...” (5:67).
Some of the famous commentators of the Qur’an who have
verified the revelation of this verse at Ghadeer Khumm
include Fakhrudeen ar-Razi, Hafiz Abu Nu’aym, as-Suyuti,
and Muhyadeen an-Nawawi (all under commentary of the
verse 5:67).
Preparations:
Immediately upon revelation of this verse, The Prophet
(peace be upon him and his progeny) stopped at once and
ordered that all the people who had gone ahead should
be called back, and waited for those who had fallen behind
to catch up. It was around noon time in the summer, and
due to the extreme heat in that valley, the Muslims had
taken shade under their cloaks from the burning sun, and
were sitting on their robes to protect themselves from the
burning desert sands. When the entire caravan had
converged, the Prophet (peace be upon him and his
progeny) ordered his companions to use the saddles from
the Muslims’ camels and set up a makeshift pulpit.
The Speech
Upon ascending the pulpit, the Messenger of Allah
(peace be upon him and his progeny) delivered a lengthy
sermon in which he recited nearly one hundred verses from
the Qur’an, and warned people of their deeds and future.
Then he delivered a long speech, in which he said:
“It seems the time approached when I shall be called
away (by Allah) and I shall answer that call. I am
leaving for you two precious things and if you adhere
both of them, you will never go astray after me. They
are the Book of Allah and my progeny, that is my
Ahlul-Bayt. The two shall never separate from each
other until they come to me by the Pool (of Paradise).”
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his progeny)
then continued: “Do I not have more right over the believers
than what they have over themselves?” The people cried
out: “Yes, O' Messenger of God.” Then Prophet then held
up the hand of ‘Ali and said:
“For whoever I am his leader (Mawla), ‘Ali is his leader
(Mawla). “O Allah! Love those who love ‘Ali, and be
the enemy of the enemy of ‘Ali; help him who helps
‘Ali, and forsake him who forsakes ‘A1i.”
This incident has been recorded by so many Muhaditheen
(recorders of ahadeeth) that is is considered mutawatir
(undeniably authentic). The list of sources includes Sahih
Tirmidhi, Sunan ibn Majah, Khasa’is an-Nisa’i, Mustadrak
al-Hakim, Musnad ibn Hanbal, Fadha’il as-Sahaba of ibn
Hanbal, Tasfeer al-Kabir by Fakhrud Deen ar-Razi, al-Bidayah
wa Nihaya by Ibn Kathir, and many others. All of these
scholars are among the most renowned and well-respected
scholars in Islamic history.

Revelation of Verse 5:3
Immediately after the Prophet (peace be upon him and
his progeny) finished his speech, the following verse of Holy
Qur’an was revealed:
“This day have those who disbelieve despaired of your
religion, so fear them not, and fear Me. This day have
I perfected for you your religion and completed My
bounty upon you and chosen for you Islam as a
religion.” (5:3)
Some of the Ahle-Sunnah scholars who which mention the
revelation of this verse at Ghadir Khum include as-Suyuti,
ibn Asakir, ibn Katheer, Abu Nu’aym, and many others.
Laudation from the Muslims
After his speech, the Messenger of Allah asked every
body to give the oath of allegiance to ‘Ali (as) and
congratulate him. Among the first Muslims to congratulate
‘Ali were ‘Umar and Abu Bakr, who said:
“Well done, O son of Abu Talib! Today you have
become the leader (Mawla) of all believing men and
women.”
[Found in Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, Tafsir al-Kabir by
Fakhrudeen al-Razi, Kitabul Wilayah by at-Tabari, and many
others]

The Meaning of "Mawla"
The schools of thought differ on the interpretation of
the word “Mawla.” In Arabic, the world “Mawla” has
many meanings. It can mean master, friend, slave, or even
client. If a word has more than one meaning, the best way
to ascertain its true connotation is to look at the association
(qarinah) and the context. There are scores of “associations”
in this hadith which clearly show that the only meaning
fitting the occasion can be “master”. Some of them are as
follows.
First: The question which the Holy Prophet asked just before
this declaration: “Do I not have more authority (awla) upon
you than you have yourselves?” When they said: “Yes,
surely,” then the Prophet proceeded to declare that:
“Whoever whose mawla I am. ‘Ali is his mawla.” Without
doubt, the word “mawla” in this declaration has the same
meaning as “awla” (having more authority upon you). At
least 64 Sunni traditionalists have quoted that preceding
question; among them are Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Ibn Majah,
an-Nasa’i and at-Tirmidhi.
Second: The following prayer which the Holy Prophet
uttered just after this declaration:
“O Allah! Love him who loves ‘Ali, and be the enemy
of the enemy of ‘Ali; help him who helps ‘Ali, and
forsake him who forsakes ‘A1i.”
This prayer shows that ‘A1i, on that day, was entrusted with
a responsibility which, by its very nature, would make some
people his enemy; and in carrying out that responsibility
he would need helpers and supporters. Are helpers ever
needed to carry on a friendship?
Third: The declaration of the Holy Prophet that: “It seems
imminent that I will be called away (by Allah) and I will
answer that call.” This clearly shows that he was making
arrangements for the leadership of the Muslims after his
death.

Eid-e-Ghadeer Mubarak

Momineen of Bangalore wish everyone a very happy Eid e Ghadeer.
Eid-E-Ghadir : Eid-E-Ghadir (I'd-Al-Ghadir) which is on the 18th of the Zilhajj (Lunar Calendar) is one of the most celebrated event by Shiite Moslems. The event of Ghadir means the nomination of Moula Ali by the Prophet Mohammad(p.b.u.h) as his successor.

"MAN KUNTO MAULA FA HAZA ALUYUN MAULA"

"Whomever I am his master, Ali is his master too. He is my Caliph (successor) upon you after me.”“O Lord support whoever supports Ali and oppose whoever opposes him."
It was the tradition of all the prophets to nominate their successors in compliance with the order of God and regardless of the approval of their followers. To the Moslems, Ghadir-e-Khum is the famous place where the Prophet Mohammad revealed his final message that he would be succeeded by Saint (Hazrat) Ali. The Arabic word "Ghadir" means pond and Khum is the particular pond located about 90 Kilometers (54 miles) northwest of Mecca in the heart of the desert called "Sahra -e- Hujfah". As Prophet Mohammad arrived at Ghadir-e-Khum, he heard the voice of Archangel Gabriel and the signs of revelation appeared. As Prophet heard the Angel, he asked to recite Azan (or Adhan, prayers that the muezzin will say to gather Moslems to the mosque) with addition of words "Hayya'ala Khair il'amal which means hasten towards the best of deeds.

Sayings of Imam Hassan(a.s)

Ziarath of Imam Hassan(a.s)

Viladathe Imame Hassane Mujtaba (a.s) mubarak

Viladathe Imame Hassane Mujtaba (a.s) mubarak:

Brief about Imam Hassan(a.s):

Al-Hasan Ibn 'Ali al-Mujtaba
( Peace be Upon him )
Name: al-Hasan.
Title: al-Mujtaba. Agnomen: Abu Muhammad. Father's name: 'Al Amir al-Mu'minin. Mother's name: Fatimah (daughter of the Holy Prophet). Birth: In Medina on Tuesday, 15th Ramadan 3 AH. Death: Died at the age of 46, in Medina on Thursday, 28th Safar 50 AH; buried in Jannatu 'I-Baqi, in Medina.
Imam Hasan was the eldest son of Imam 'Ali and Hadrat Fatimah. When the Holy Prophet received the happy news of the birth of his grandson, he came to the house of his beloved daughter, took the newly born child in his arms, recited adhan and iqamah in his right and left ears respectively, and in compliance with Allah's command named him al-Hasan.
* * *
Childhood:
The first phase of seven years of his infancy was blessed with the gracious patronage of the Holy Prophet, who gifted him all his great qualities and adorned him with Divine knowledge, tolerance, intelligence, bounty and valour. Being infallible by birth and decorated with heavenly knowledge by Allah, his insight had an access to al-lawhu'I-mahfuz ( the Guarded Tablet on which the transactions of mankind have been written by Allah for all eternity). The Holy Imam immediately became conversant with all the contents of any wahy (Qur'anic verses) revealed when the Holy Prophet would disclose it to his associates. To the great surprise of the Holy Prophet, Hadrat Fatimah would often recite the exact text of a newly revealed wahy before he disclosed it personally to her. When he inquired, she would inform him that it was Hasan through whom she had learned the Revelation.
* * *
Remembrance of Allah:
The Holy Imam devoted himself to prayers in such abundance, that all the limbs employed in prostration bore scars and impressions of his Sajdah (prostration). Most of the nights were spent on the prayer-carpet. The sense of his absorption and humiliation in prayers to Allah were in such earnest that he would shed tears profusely out of fear of Allah. While performing ablution, he trembled with the fear of Allah and his face grew pale at the time of prayers. His earnest meditation in the offering of prayers and his extreme absorption in communion with Allah would render him entirely unconscious of his environments.
* * *
His Piousness and Contentment:
Imam Hasan had the worldly possessions at his disposal and could have well enjoyed a luxurious life, but he utilized all of it in the betterment of the condition of the poor. He was so courteous and humble that he never hesitated to sit along with the beggars in the lanes and on the thoroughfares of Medina to reply to some of their religious queries. Through his cordial attitude and hospitality he never let the poor and the humble feel inferior to him when they visited his abode.
* * *
Imamate:
The demise of the Holy Prophet was followed by an eventful era when the Islamic world (under the false ruling bodies) came in the grip of the fever of expansionism and conquest. But even under such a revolutionary phase, Imam Hasan kept devoting himself to the sacred mission of peacefully propagating Islam and the teachings of the Holy Prophet along with his great father Imam 'Ali. The martyrdom of Imam 'All on the 21st Ramadan marked the inception of Imam Hasan's Imamate. The majority of Muslims pledged their allegiance to him and finalized the formality of bay'ah (oath of allegiance). No sooner had he taken the reins of leadership into his hands than he had to meet the challenge of Mu'awiyah, the Governor of Syria, who declared a war against him. In compliance with the Will of Allah and with a view to refrain from causing the massacre of Muslims however, he entered into a piece treaty with Mu'awiyah on terms (though not totally respected and carried out by Mu'awiyah), yet saved Islam and stopped a civil war. But this peace treaty was never meant as a surrender by him of the permanent leadership to Mu'awiyah. It was meant only as an interim transfer of the administration of the Islamic kingdom, subject to the condition that the ad- ministration would be surrendered back to Imam Hasan after Mu'awiyah's death and then it would in turn be inherited by Imam Husayn. Having relieved himself of the administrative responsibilities, Imam Hasan kept the religious leadership with himself and devoted his life to the propagation of Islam and the teachings of the Holy Prophet in Medina.
* * *
Martyrdom:
Mu'awiyah's malice against Imam Hasan led him to conspire with the Imam's wife Ja'dah, the daughter of Ash'ath. She was made to give the Imam some poison which affected his liver. Imam Hasan thus succumbed to Mu'awiyah's fatal mischief and attained his martyrdom on 28th Safar 50 AH. His funeral was attended by Imam Husayn and the members of the Hashimite family. His bier while being taken for burial to the Holy Prophet's tomb was shot at with arrows by his enemies, (under direct supervision and consent of 'A'ishah), and it had to be diverted for burial to the Jannatu 'I-Baq;' at Medina. His tomb was demolished along with others on 8th Shawwal 1344 (21st April 1926) by the Saudi rulers when they came to power in .Hijaz. The terms of the peace treaty were soon violated, but earned only a short-lived glory for Mu'awiyah. Its aftermath proved disastrous and doomed the fate of his son Yzid and dealt a fatal blow to the entire family of Umayyads. After the death of Mu'awiyah, Imam Husayn emerged as the insurmountable mountain of truth and determination. In the gruesome tragedy of Karbala', by sheer force of numbers, and by isolating the seventy-two members of Imam Husayn' s party and stopping them from even getting water to drink for three days, Yazid succeeded in annihilating the seventy-two persons including members of the Imam's family who were with him. This dastardly success of Yazid was, however, short-lived. The Muslims turned against him on learning of the heinous act he had committed and this resulted in the downfall of Yazid and the extinction of the Umayyad power from the face of the earth.

Allamah Tabatabai writes:
Imam Hasan Mujtaba, upon whom be peace, was the second Imam. He and his brother Imam Husayn were the two sons of Amir al-Mu'minin 'Ali and Hadrat Fatimah, the daughter of the Prophet. Many times the Prophet had said, "Hasan and Husayn are my children." Because of these same words 'Ali would say to his other children, "You are my children and Hasan and Husayn are the children of the Prophet." Imam Hasan was born in the year 3 AH, in Medina and shared in the life of the Prophet for somewhat over seven years, growing up during that time under his loving care. After the death of the Prophet which was no more than three, or according to some, six months earlier than the death of Hadrat Fatimah, Hasan was placed directly under the care of his noble father. After the death of his father, through Divine Command and according to the will of his father, Imam Hasan became Imam; he also occupied the outward function of caliph for about six months, during which time he administered the affairs of the Muslims.
During that time Mu'awiyah, who was a bitter enemy of 'Ali and his family and had fought for years with the ambition of capturing the caliphate, first on the pretext of avenging the death of the third caliph and finally with an open claim to the caliphate, marched his army to Iraq, the seat of Imam Hasan's caliphate. War ensued during which Mu'awiyah gradually subverted the generals and commanders of Imam Hasan' s army with large sums of money and deceiving promises until the army rebelled against Imam Hasan. Finally, the Imam was forced to make peace and to yield the caliphate to Mu'awiyah, provided it would again return to Imam Hasan after Mu'awiyah's death and the Imam's Household and partisans would be protected in every way. In this way Mu'awiyah captured the Islamic caliphate and entered Iraq. In a public speech he officially made null and void all the peace conditions and in every way possible placed the severest pressure upon the members of the Household of the Prophet and the Shi'ah.
During all the ten years of his Imamate, Imam Hasan lived in conditions of extreme hardship and under persecution, with no security even in his own house. In the year 50 AH, he was poisoned and martyred by one of his own House- hold who, as has been accounted by historians, had been motivated by Mu'awiyah. In human perfection Imam Hasan was reminiscent of his father and a perfect example of his noble grand- father. In fact, as long as the Prophet was alive, he and his brother were always in the company of the Prophet who even sometimes would carry them on his shoulders. Both Sunni and Shl'ite sources have transmitted this saying of the Holy Prophet concerning Hasan and Husayn: "These two children of mine are Imams (leaders) whether they stand up or sit down" ( allusion to whether they occupy the external function of caliphate or not). Also, there are many traditions of the Holy Prophet and 'Al concerning the fact that Imam Hasan would gain the function of Imamate after his noble father. (Shi'ite Islam).
Imam al-Hasan ibn 'Ali', peace be on him, said:
If you fail to obtain something of worldly benefit, take it as if the thought of it had never crossed your mind at all.
Never did a nation resort to mutual counsel except that they were guided by it towards maturity.
It is love which brings closer those who are remote by ancestry, and it is (the absence of) love which causes dissociation between those who are related by ancestry.
Opportunity is something which is quick to vanish and late to return.

Shaban al Mu'azzam - the 8th month of Hijri calendar has been bestowed glory, honor, blessings, preference and excellence.
This month is attributed with the Lord of Prophets Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace of Allah be upon him & his progeny).
A saying of Holy prophet goes:"Shaban is my month whoever keeps fast in it, is worthy of heaven (Bahisht).
Aamal of this great month are of two types:
Common aamal (not specified with any day)
Specific aamal
Common Aamal:
-Hazrat Sadiq-e-Aal-e-Muhammad Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S) said the best duaa in this month is 'Istighfar' (asking forgiveness from Allah).
A man asked him (Imam) how should he beg pardon from Allah? Imam replied 'Say

for 70 times daily.
-Daily say 70 times:

Performing 70 times istighfar in this month is equal to 70,000 times istighfar in other months.
-Keeping fast in this month is of great reward.
-Giving charity is from among the best aamal of the month.
A hadith of Imam Raza (A.S) goes: he who gives charity in this month even it is half of a 'date' Allah will make haram the fire of hell for him'.
A man asked Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S) about the best amal of this month. Imam replied: "istighfar and sadqa (asking forgiveness from Allah & giving charity in His way)." -Recite thousand times, daily
-Offer two-rakaat prayer on every Thursday of this month. In each rakat recite sura-Ikhlass 100times after sura Hamd and then 100 times salawat

after Salam. So that Allah Almighty fulfills the wishes/needs of the world and hereafter.
-Recite plenty of salawat in this month.
-Recite daily at zawal time the salawat, which is reported from Imam Zain-ul-Abedeen (A.S).

Specific Aamal:
In the 1st night of this month to offer 12-rakaat prayer with 2-2 rakaat is worthy of reward. In each rakat sura-Ikhlaas is to be recited for eleven times after sura Hamd.
1st day of Shaban is very blessed day as the elder daughter of Lord of the testamentary executors Hazrat Ameeral Momineen Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S) and Mistress of the Ladies of the worlds Hazrat Fatimah zahra (AS), Hazrat Zainb (AS) was born in Medina Munawwera. Her grandfather Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him & his progeny) named her Zainab - being made up of 2 words: 'Zain' (beauty) and 'ab' (of father). Her holy shrine is in Damascus, Syria.
Khateeb-e-Aal-e-Muhammad late Allama Azhar Hassan Zaidi said about her (A.S): "if there was no Hussain then there would be no name of Islam today but if there was no Zainab then there would be no name of Hussain."
She was that great Lady of Knanwada-e-Muhammad-o-Aal-e-Muhammad (PBUT) whose discerning addresses shook the foundations of Yazidi palaces.
Some aamal of this day are:
-To keep fast in the first day is of great excellence. A saying of Hazrat Imam Jafer-e-Sadiq (A.S) goes that he who keeps fast in this day is worthy of heaven. Holy Prophet said Allah orders in this day to get open the doors of heaven so do good for the pleasure of Allah.
3rd Shaban is that auspicious and blessed day when the grand son of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH & HP) Syedush Shuhada (Lord of the Martyrs) Hazrat Imam Hussain ibne Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S) was born in Medina in the year 4 AH.
A saying of Holy Prophet about Imam Hussain, his 3rd successor shows the great status he enjoyed in his (holy prophet's) sight:

'Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain'
When the good news of Imam Hussain's birth reached the Holy Prophet, he came to his daughter Fatima Zahra's house, took the newly born child in his arms, recited azan and iqamah in his right and left ears respectively, and on the 7th day of his birth, after performing rites of 'aqeeqa', named him al-Hussain in compliance with Allah's command.
Abdullah ibne Abbas narrates " on the very day of Imam Hussain's birth, Allah ordered angel Gabriel to descend and congratulate the Holy Prophet on His behalf and on his own. While descending, Gabriel passed over an island where the angel 'Futrus' had been banished due to his delay in executing a commission assigned by Allah. He was deprived of his wings and expelled to the island where he remained for several years praying and worshipping Allah and asking for His forgiveness. When Futrus saw Gabriel, he called out 'where are you going O Gabriel?' To this he replied 'Hussain, the grandson of Muhammad is born and for this very reason Allah has commanded me to convey His congratulations to His apostle.' There upon Futrus said, 'can you carry me also along with you? May Muhammad recommend my case to Allah.' Gabriel took Futrus along with him came to the Holy Prophet, offered congratulations to him on behalf of Allah and himself and referred the case of Futrus to him. The Holy Prophet said to Gabriel, 'ask the angel to touch the body of the newly born child and return to his place in heaven.' On doing so, Futrus re-obtained his wings instantly and praising the Holy Prophet and his newly-born grandson, ascended towards the heaven."
Some aamal to be performed in this day are:
-To keep fast;
-To recite Ziarat Imam Hussain;
-To take bath;
-To recite following dua;

-And that dua which Imam Hussain recited on Ashoor day when enemies besieged him:

Shaban 4 is the Birth anniversary of Hazrat Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (A.s). He was the son of Hazrat Ameer al Momineen Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S) and Hazrat Ummal Baneen (A.S) belonging to the brave tribe of Arab 'Bani Kalab'. On his birth Hazrat Ali (A.S) took him in his arms, kissed him and said while weeping bitterly:
"Abbas will be the Alamdar (standard bearer) of my Hussain's army and will sacrifice his life for Hussain in the plain of Karbala."
One of his titles is 'Babul Hawa'ij' (the door to fulfilling needs).
He was known as 'Qamar Bani Hashim' due to his peerless beauty and grace. The first phase of 14 years of his age was blessed with the gracious patronage of Ameer al Momineen while the 2nd ten years with Imam Hassan (A.S). After the martyrdom of Imam Hassan (AS) he was placed under the care of Imam Hussain (A.S).
Ghazi Abbas was an embodiment of bravery, courage, tolerance, intelligence, valour, boldness, bounty and modesty. At the time of his martyrdom in Karbala he was 34 years of age.
Saying of Imam Hussain at his martyrdom "Now my back has been broken" shows the great status of Hazrat Abbas in the sight of Syedush shuhada (A.S). His Holy mausoleum in Karbala is the resort of all.
Shaban 5 is the birth anniversary of the 4th successor of Holy Prophet (PBUH $HP), Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abedeen bin al Hussain (AS).
On 7 Shaban, Hazrat Qasim bin Hassan bin Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S) was born. His mother was Umm-e-Farwa (A.S). He kissed martyrdom in the plain of Karbala at the age of 13.
Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan (TNFJ) has announced to mark Shaban 1-7 as 'Hafta-e-Wilae Muhammad o Aal-e-Muhammad' throughout the world.
11 Shaban is the birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali Akbar (A.S) bin al Hussain ibne Abi Talib (A.S) and Hazrat Umm-e-Laila (A.S). He was martyred in Karbala at the age of 18 in the year 61 A.H.
Keeping fast on 13 and 14 Shaban is desirable.
The night between 14 and 15 Shaban, known, as 'Shab-e-Bara'at' is the night of blessings and glory.
Hazrat Imam Jafer-e-Sadiq (A.S) reported that Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S) was asked about the merit and excellence of this night then Imam replied, " It is one of those nights being bestowed with honour and dignity. In this holy night Allah grants His servants and forgives them with His graciousness, kindness and favour. So try to find out nearness to Allah. In fact this is that glorious night that Allah Almighty swore by Him 'not to turn back any one empty handed.'
The honour of this night touches heights and elevation as in the same night at the time of seher (pre-dawn) Hazrat Saheb al Asr-e-Wazzaman - the 12th successor of Holy Prophet was born in the year 255 A.H. in Samarah, Iraq.
There are many Aamal reported to be performed in this night - some of them are as under:
-To take bath;
-Cease to sleep and spend the night in ibadat, prayer, recitation of Holy Quran and istighfar as was the practice of Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abedeen (A.S);
-To recite ziarat of Imam Hussain (A.S) which is the best amal of this night and a source of forgiveness of sins. It is reported from Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abedeen (A.S) that he who wants to shake hand with the souls of one lakh and 24 thousands prophets, should recite ziarat of Imam Hussain (A.S):
-To recite the following dua which is equal to the ziarat of Imam Saheb al Asr-e-Wazzaman:

-To recite dua-e-kumail;
-To recite hundred times:

Imam Baqir (A.S) said he who recites this will be pardoned and Allah will fulfill his all wishes of the world and hereafter.
-To offer 4-rakaat prayer with 2 Salams. In each rakat recite sura Ikhlaas hundred times after sura Hamd. Then after prayer recite:

-To recite 10-rakaat prayer with 5 Salams. In each rakat recite sura Ikhlaas ten times after sura Hamd. Then prostrate and recite following dua:

-To present Areeza-e-Hajaat in the bargah of Hazrat Saheb al Asr (ATF) at the time of pre-dawn.
15th of Shaban is the day of glory, honour, dignity and blessings as it is the Birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam-e-Zamana (Ajja lallahu farajahu). He is the Imam of our era and a hadith of Holy Prophet (PBUH &HP) goes:

'One who dies without knowing the Imam of his time, dies a death of ignorance (Jahalat).'
Hazrat Imam Mehdi, al-Qa'em, Saheb-al-Asr Wazzaman (ATF) is our Imam, Imam of our era and as the verse 71 of sura Bani Israel says:

"(Remember) the day (of Judgement) when we shall call every people with their Imam."
We will be called and presented with our Imam on resurrection day.
His mother was Hazrat Narjis (A.S). at the time of the martyrdom of his father Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S) he was five years old.
The Imam has two disappearances, a short disappearance and the long disappearance.
The short disappearance was from the time of his birth until the death of the fourth deputy in year 329 hijri. The long disappearance began the year 329 hijri and is continuing until now, waiting for the command of Allah to appear, so he can bring peace and justice to earth as it is now filled with destruction and oppression.
The messenger of Allah Muhammad (PBUH & HP) said, " If there was one day left for the world, Allah the Almighty will prolong that day so that my son, whose name is the same as mine, will arise. He will fill the world with justice and fairness as it was filled with oppression and tyranny.
During the period of Imam's occultation, maraje uzzam have been referred to for the solution of worldly and religious problems. With the praise of Allah Maktab-e-Tashayyo has this honour that 'darwaza-e-ijtehad' is open in it.
Some aamal of this glorious day are:
-To wear new and fine dress;
-To keep fast;
-To recite ziarat of Hazrat Saheb al Asr (ATF)
-To pray for Imam's haste appearance.
TNFJ has named this holy day as 'Youm-e-Adl', which is observed throughout the world including Pakistan with respect, zeal and enthusiasm. Mahafil, religious ceremonies and sacred jashans are held on this occasion.
